I really enjoy owning books that are functional and factual and The Flower Workshop by Ariella Chezar definitely qualifies as such. To put it simply this book is beautiful. In essence, the book is about designing floral arrangements which is a popular subject today especially with the interest in DIY projects growing. Chezar of FlowerSchool New York is known for the exquisite arrangements she had crafted for Martha Stewart Living, Domino and the White House. Her expertise is witnessed amongst the pages of The Flower Workshop as she takes readers through a course in Botany 101 and Floral Design.

The book outlines various types of arrangements and contains a section of arrangements categorized by tone, my personal favorite. This book is worth purchasing for the pictures alone and learning to be able to make things of beauty into something of greater beauty is simply an added value. Whether you are looking to purchase a coffee table book or learn to arrange florals, this book will fulfill both needs.

The Flower Workshop is available now from Amazon, Barnes and Noble and other major booksellers.

I received The Flower Workshop compliments of Blogging for Books in exchange for my honest review.
