What Are Feelings For? is the latest title in the Training Young Hearts series by Abbey Wedgeworth. This board book teaches children that feelings are a good gift from God. This book also teaches that feelings do not define truth, but they can encourage us to draw near to Jesus, who is the Truth (John 14:6).
The illustrations are lovely and captivating. One of my favorite aspects of this series is its inclusion of each person of the Trinity. Each book, including this one, helps children understand the gospel message in a way that makes sense for their age. My toddler son loves this series, and we can’t wait to read its forthcoming picture book title, Your Incredible Eyes.
