Your Worth Never Wavers is the latest children’s book by author Laura Wifler. The words in the book are based on a poem that Wifler wrote, called Dear Daughter, and their purpose is to help girls understand that their worth is rooted much deeper than their appearance—it’s rooted in bearing God’s image. The poem is from a mother to her daughter, and the mother uses examples from nature to reassure her daughter of God’s love.
Sprinkled throughout the story are 12 nature fun facts, and the illustrations are diverse and captivating, making this a book kids (and adults) will want to read repeatedly. While children are the intended audience of this book, I cried while reading it to my kids because it is a precious reminder of how God feels about me. This is a lovely Christian picture book that I highly recommend!
