I received the products mentioned compliments of Influenster for testing purposes.

When I learned that I would be receiving Influenster’s Revlon Skin Reviving Roller VoxBox, I was excited to check it out. The information I received from Influenster indicated that I would be one of the first people to try it. It was exciting to have exclusive access to a beauty product before it became publicly available. The roller I received came with three interchangeable balls each with its own individual functions. The first ball is made of volcanic stone and is reusable. Its purpose is to absorb excess oil on the skin and to replace the need for products like blotting papers. Initially, I was skeptical as to its efficacy but when I tried it, it actually worked. Upon reading some reviews of the product, I learned that it’s best to use this roller only as needed as using it too often can remove some of the skin’s natural moisture.

The next ball my roller came with is rose quartz. Revlon claims that the purpose of this ball is to depuff, cool, and revive skin. While it certainly cools, I’m not certain that it does much in the way of depuffing and reviving and it’s hard to know if it lives up to those claims because there aren’t any standards for proving them. Although a quick internet search will yield various articles boasting the benefits of rose quartz rolling, I haven’t come across any that actually prove the benefits. I did enjoy the cool feel of the roller but I’m not convinced that adding rose quartz rolling to my skincare routine will have any substantial long-term benefits.

The third ball my roller kit included was a stainless steel ball. According to Revlon, the purpose of this ball is to cool and depuff. While it certainly felt nice rolling it on my face, I couldn’t find any hard evidence to support the claim that it depuffs.

If I could only purchase one roller kit, I would choose the volcanic stone one because it truly works and can be washed and reused. It is small enough to fit into my purse and have on hand if needed. I also like that it comes with a case for storage so the stone won’t be easily lost. I enjoyed testing out these products and I’m grateful to Influenster for sending them to me!
