All About the Bible is the latest title in the All About series from The Good Book Company. This book by Alison Mitchell is absolutely fascinating as it helps kids learn about what Scripture is and how it came to be. It contains facts about the Bible, its history, and the process of its earliest manuscripts becoming the printed copies we have today.
The book also explores biblical themes and translations and teaches readers the genres of the biblical books. It also helps readers see how God’s word is one big story composed of many small stories. This is a great resource for helping children understand the Bible’s purpose as it points to Jesus. While this is a children’s book, adults will benefit from reading it, too. I’m eager to read this book with my children and wish I had something like this when I was their age.
